For the longest time, I honestly didn’t think Marvel would ever actually do an “Ant-Man” film. Then again, I never actually thought they could pull off an “Avengers” film, either, and they proved me wrong. Oh did they ever. And while I’m still not sold on a superhero who can shrink to the size of an ant and control, er, other ants with a helmet, hey, it’s Marvel, they’ve proven they can make even the most ridiculous concept respectable, so more power to ’em.

As for when you can expect Edgar Wright’s “Ant-Man”, Disney/Marvel have now made it official: “Ant-Man” will be busting bad guys with ant power in theaters everywhere … November 6, 2015.

Yup, you’ll still have to wait a whopping three years. On the plus side, 2015 is also when Marvel has scheduled Joss Whedon’s “The Avengers 2”.

So, to sum up, here’s the full list of upcoming Marvel movies:

“Iron Man 3” (in 3D) on 5/3/13.

“Thor: The Dark World” (in 3D) on 11/8/13.

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” (apparently NOT in 3D! — as of now, anyway) on 4/4/14.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” on 8/1/14.

“The Avengers 2” on 5/1/15.

“Ant-Man” on 11/6/15.

Mark your calendars accordingly, kids.
