Aside from doing his own thing in the direct-to-DVD arena, Dolph Lundgren is also scheduled to star in Sylvester Stallone’s action-a-second flick “The Expendables” this year, and he recently talked about his character in the movie. Lundgren also drops some plot points, including how his character is recruited by a shady CIA agent (played by Eric Roberts, of course, cause really, who does shady better than Roberts?) to betray Stallone, and the fact that Lundgren’s Gunnar Jensen and Jet Li’s Bao don’t get along, which leads to some fight scenes between the two.
“The Expendables” has Stallone and his band of mercenaries heading down South to take out a dictator, and is written, directed and staring Sylvester Stallone. The rest of the cast includes Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, Randy Couture, and a cameo by the Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
