Donkey Punch Trailer: More Dangerous Than a Kick in the Balls

I actually have a copy of the British thriller “Donkey Punch” on my desk, but haven’t gotten around to seeing it, along with the gazillion other movies I have laying around, and will probably never end up watching. This is what the kids call laziness, folks. Anyways, here’s the trailer for Oliver Blackburn’s controversial “Donkey Punch”. The title refers to an act perpetrated on a woman during a very specific type of sex that doesn’t rhyme with “missionary position”, if you get my drift. In the case of the movie, the act causes the woman to die. But wait! That’s just the beginning.

After meeting at a nightclub in a Mediterranean resort, seven young adults decide to continue partying aboard a luxury yacht in the middle of the ocean. But when one of them dies in a freak accident the others argue about what to do, leading to a ruthless fight for survival.

The “freak accident” they mention in the logline above is the donkey punch mentioned in the title. If you’re one of the guys who were engaging in said act with the now-dead girl, what do you do? Especially when she’s just one of three girls you brought onto your yacht, and her friends are still alive and know about it, and you even recorded the whole thing for prosperity?

And did I mention they’re all on a yacht in the middle of the ocean? Swim, girls, swim!

The film was released last year in the UK, but will making its Stateside bow in limited release January 23, 2009. I’d wait for the DVD. When the counter guy asks you what it’s about, just tell him it’s about three guys from Arkansas who goes around punching donkeys. Unless, of course, you live in Arkansas. Then you can blame it on people from Oklahoma.
