hahaha….this look bad…. for now i guess.. coz this is just raw image/pic without the special effects. I want to see it with full special effects… maybe it will look better than this…but the actors for this movie not good enough compare to the anime characters. we all know Goku is very tough guy with big muscle…but justin…hehehe… and if u guys compare picolo and goku in the anime, we can see picolo is one big guy… i hope james masters is taller and bigger than justin…i think the guy who play yamcha ni this live action movie is more tougher and muscular than justin…hahaha funny. but i hope this movie is good…coz i’m a big fan of Dragon Ball.

They leave Krillin out than the movie and future of Dragon Ball are screwed. If he goes super saiyan it’s beyond screwed. Also where’s Tien?

oi super saiyan 09 do u no db or not if u do.. that goes to everyone else r u all idiots because in the fight versus king piccolo krillin was killed because of lord piccolos henchmen just after the last tournament saga b4 the lord picolo saga and the chiatzu was alo kiled and i think master roshi ened up getin killed also but being wished bak l8r after the big fight..

and as fr tien not being in it i have no idea y cause he was like one of the key characters next to goku in the lord picolo fight he was there fr the duration of the saga and also yajirobi was in parts of it.

Okay Darkman 1st of all I DO know Dragon Ball. 2nd of all I saw a video on youtube that showed Krillin and Tien in it but Tien’s actor was black and Krillin’s actor looked too tall. I know the whole King Piccolo Saga. Krillin dies and that pisses Goku off Chaiotzu dies and that pisses Tien off while Master Roshi wares himself out trying to reimprison King Piccolo but it look like they’re putting the movie in a different direction than the anime we all know and love because Piccolo’s minions(Tambourine,Symbol,Drum)aren’t in it and Emperor Pilaf’s henchman Agent Mine is going to be his only henchmen. As for Chiatotzu he is definitely not in it because he was not in the youtube video but I think Yajirobe was but the video may be outdated so DON’T ANYONE AND YELL AT ME FOR STUFF I TYPED.What does your above have do with what I said before anyway? All I did was ask how the pictures were fake?

Are yall kidding me.. This movie looks like its going to be a major hit. But what people have to udnerstand not everyone is going to see it in the US.. But this movie is not just for the US… BEcause the whole world has had DBZ translated into the lang because it IS VERY VERY popular.

With a 100million dollar budget its going to be really good. And just because they dont keep DIRECT to the story is no cause to get mad. Because FFS i dont want talking PIG’s And I THINK the way GOKU’s hair looks is more REALISTIC.

Yeah true it’s impossible to find an actor who LOOKS 100% LIKE GOKU. NO SHIT SHERLOCK. But that doesn’t change the fact that they used a shitty goku actor for it, if you actually BELIEVE this guy would be able to pull it off then wow… just wow, idk what to say to you. That’s why we complain. This movie will put an ugly stain on the original anime/manga. Better of if it doesn’t exist.

I wish everybody will jus wait til the damn movie actually COMES OUT. Quit judging on the pictures, you haven’t even seen a trailer yet! Until the trailer comes out or until we see some actually pics of Piccolo, finished sets and pictures of fight scenes, quit complaining and be patient! And why does everyone keep mentioning Super Saiyan? This is DRAGON BALL not DRAGON BALL Z.

The reason anyone would mention Super Saiyan is because that’s what they think casting a white guy as Goku would imply, which is exactly one of the reasons people are able to judge this movie sucks just from the pictures: the casting’s strayed too far from acceptability

If its gonna be like that “dead or Alive” adaption. Then from now on I’m boycotting anime adaptions into film so its gonna be marvel adaption ftw. I mean serious everyone it looks like a cosplay party! This is seriously gonna be a box office bomb, even though some of you denies it so (sigh).

You’ll be surprised RealityCall at how many fans will hop into the car, go to the movie theater, get their tickets, butter their popcorn and rush to their seats when they see a preview for a movie titled “Dragon Ball”.

I think everyone should just wait for a trailer atleast before saying it’s going to suck… but I think that they are going to make it all bubble gum and kiddie to try and attract an audience of all ages which is going to really make the movie suck. If they want it to be good they’d have to make it hardcore and violent, more like the Japanese version of the cartoon than dumbing it down to some corney bullshyt kiddie version.. if they make it hardcore, violent, and gritty then it should be good.. if its a child movie its going to suck point blank.. hopefully if they fuck up on this when its time to do Dragonb Ball Z movie theyll do what it takes to make it good.. I think only true Dragon Ball Z fans or the actual creators of Dragon Ball can make it good, but giving the project to a person who doesnt know much or care for DBZ wont do a good job..

for those of you that cant read the movie is called DRAGON BALL not dragon ball z. there will be no super sayians. this movie will take place near the end of dragon ball where goku is around his early 20’s so he is NOT a kid. i dont care if this movie looks bad or good i will still see it because it was a big part of my childhood. i think chatwin does look like goku and he is a good actor. my only concern is that maybe krillin might not be in the movie but who knows this movie is still in the works so we will just have to wait till the trailer when it comes out in november…..

Does anyone know more/better ways to keep up with developing details of this movie?

All i can tell from these shots are:
1 - the stories been altered which may or may not be for the better
2 - Goku seems to be in high school maybe even college, dispite growing up in a remote location with his grandpa
3 - they added Power ranger like assassins of somekind (which imho is a huge no no).
4 - A world tournament held inside with a small group of ppl? plz tell me that picture isnt real! or at least that its the qulifications matchs that come before the world tourney.
5 - Everyone is significatly older than the original series indictates.
6 - The movie seems to take place in more modern times, which further incourages my thoughts that goku is in school.
7 - Krillian has obviously not made he cut so im guessing no SS in this movie, unless he turn ss for a completely other reason say: Chi Chi gets killed or hurt severly.
8 - Goku’s personality isnt replicated or incorperated into the film (which is a huge let down since goku was what kept me watching the series).
Over all i still have high hopes for this movie, although i admit it leaves me dark reminders of the live action movie of Guiver, and fist of the north star, you all know how those turned out to be.
Anyways, if this film failes the only thing i can turn to, to lift my spirits are Akira, Robotech and Ghost in the Shell.

This film will CRASH AND BURN. This is just going to set back DBZ a couple years. The film should not be made until a true fan of DB(Z) is set to direct it - and knows what the hell he/she is doing.

I am NOT going to see this film. And you just know they’re going to make a horrible DBZ sequel for money.
