An Asian actor should be chosen to play as Son Goku! Chatwin can NEVER be Goku! There is so many upcoming Asian actors out there like Jon Foo & Tony Jaa who is really good in Martial Arts. And besides Goku is very easy to play because Goku lived in the mountains. So english speaking is NOT a problem.

WE WANT A DRAGONBALL REBOOT!!! WE WANT AN ASIAN ACTOR FOR GOKU NOT WHITE!!!

i dont give a damn if it sucks or not i am just so sick and tired of wating for it to come out. they said that they were going to make dbz in 02 and every year it gets pushed back again and again. hell they have made 3 lord of the rings shows since then and there all 3 hours long each lol. all i am saying is put it out there so we can all get it out of are system bicth or cheer and move on lol.
p.s speed racer was a o.k show.

Think, I have never seen Dbz in your life and some one described it to you, you would think its horrible probably, but when you see it with your own eyes its incredible. See the movie your self. Most critics say it will be the biggest live action movie ever globally.

*sighs* The basis is very simple. We are just grateful for a dbz movie. We are just happy it is finally being made. We all knew that there was absolutely no way in hell that the movie could perfectly emulate the anime, a movie like that would suck. It would pretty much just be a hi-def episode of Dragonball. So, instead of acting like spoiled children, we just want to wait and see the movie for ourselves and enjoy it without some loudmouth in the theatre screaming that it will suck.
Boycotting and petitioning it will stop nothing. At the very least, if it is as bad as you say, maybe it will be redone like Ang Lee’s ill-fated “hulk” movie. And if so, everyone will have seen it and know. So stop getting your panties in a bunch and we’ll all just wait and see.

A bulma with all blue hair would be shit.
Yeah the character had it, but in a serious movie, that kind of thing doesn’t fly. Anime characters have blue, pink and green hair, but real people do not.
And if you look close the blue is recognized. She has a blue streak in her hair to pay homage to the anime and to show the kind of character Bulma is.

Actually, if you went and read volume 1 of Dragonball, it says plainly in the beginning that the story takes place in China. So, not white americans, Chinese people in China. (How can you tell from the show if they are white or asian anyway?) And Goku could be something that isn’t white or asian seeing as he’s an alien and probably wouldn’t have specific features of either, but some kind of uniqueness without being strange looking.
Also, you do not need Vegeta or the Androids in this movie. They actually appeared relatively late after the story began. Piccolo is in this because he was one of the first major villains.
If you directed this, i would blow up a movie theatre.

Well, alls i can say is. QUIT YOUR WINING ASSES TRYING TO PETITION AGAINST THIS FILM!! We all can see that the storyline is butchered, that Goku’s hair looks like crap, and Yamcha is completely wrong. But for crying out loud, just watch the movie. How long have you been waiting for this? Finally there is a DBZ movie coming out. Personally, i’m going to enjoy it.
What you guys are doing is like giving a 5 year old exactly what he wanted for christmas, but he’s being a little brat and throwing it at you because it’s the wrong color.

Also… on a minor note, anyone who uses the words pwn or noob deserves to be elbowed in the temple.
