Drive Gets New Posters, Girly Color Font

Yeah, not sure about the new, pink-colored font for Nicolas Winding Refn’s gritty crime drama “Drive”. If turning the title into a pink, cursive “romantic comedy”-esque font is a gag, then it’s a damn good one. If not, then someone’s got some ‘splainin’ to do, especially if the film ends up being half as brutal as the book from which it is based. Anyways, check out two new posters for “Drive” below.

“Drive” is the story of a Hollywood stunt driver by day (Gosling), a loner by nature, who moonlights as a top-notch getaway driver-for-hire in the criminal underworld. He finds himself a target for some of LA’s most dangerous men after agreeing to aid the husband of his beautiful neighbor, Irene (Mulligan). When the job goes dangerously awry, the only way he can keep Irene and her son alive is to do what he does best—Drive!

Starring yan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Albert Brooks, Oscar Isaac, Ron Perlman, Christina Hendricks, and driving into theaters September 16th.
