I gotta admit, for a while there I didn’t think this movie would ever get made. Then, ten years later — lo and behold, Troy Duffy had brought “Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day” to Comic-Con ’09. But alas I was stuck with other engagements while at the Con and couldn’t attend. Here is your first look at “Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day”, which brings back all the boys from the first one, and adds in Julie Benz in the Willem Dafoe role. Hmm, let’s see, Julie Benz or Willem Dafoe? Yeah, I think ol Troy choice wisely.
The trailer (it’s called a Red Band, for violence I assume) doesn’t really give much in terms of plot, but from what I can recall, the storyline has someone going around killing people and making it look like the Boondock Saints are responsible, forcing our anti-heroes to come out of retirement to kick some ass and shoot lots and lots of people.
Starring Julie Benz, Clifton Collins Jr., Sean Patrick Flanery, Judd Nelson, Norman Reedus, Peter Fonda, Billy Connolly, David Della Rocco, and Bob Marley. Troy Duffy orchestrates the mayhem.
Everyone grab their guns November 1, 2009.
