I’d like to think that Clint Eastwood gets a dopamine rush through the bloodstream whenever he so much as senses someone’s fear. I don’t know if the same rule applies to the supernatural, but I wouldn’t want to be a ghost or a specter or a slithering thing facing down the barrel of his gun as he says, “Do you feel lucky?”
Unfortunately, Eastwood is sending Matt Damon to do his dirty work. “Hereafter”, a film which, though under the suspicion of tight quarters, is described by Variety as a thriller in the vein of “The Sixth Sense”, will star Matt Damon, with Eastwood working as director-producer. England’s most famous screenwriter Peter Morgan (“The Queen”, “Frost/Nixon”) penned the script treatment.
