Elizabeth Olsen Battles Single-Take Horror in Silent House Trailer

If the name Elizabeth Olsen, the star of “Silent House”, sounds familiar, that’s probably because she’s the younger sister of the Olsen twins. You remember, those extremely cute girls from “Full Houses” that grew up to be incredibly creepy adults? Yeah, she’s from that lineage. But from all the praise she’s received for “Martha Marcy May Marlene”, it appears little sister will be doing more than just grow up to creep out the world. Check out the first theatrical trailer for directors Chris Kentis and Laura Lau’s single-take horror movie “Silent House”, a remake of the Gustavo Hernández original “The Silent House” from 2010, which, too, was supposedly shot in one single, continuous take.

Sarah is a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family’s secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house.

Also starring Adam Trese, Eric Sheffer Stevens, Julia Taylor Ross, Haley Murphy, and Adam Barnett.

After playing the festival circuits all year in 2011, the film is finally opening wide March 9th, 2012 courtesy of Open Road Films.
