Emmy Rossum Spills on Dragonball

Written by Nix | December 26th, 2007 | 21 Comments |

Emmy Rossum, who was last reported to have landed a cushy job in the upcoming James Wong movie “Dragonball”, has talked about the movie via her official Myspace page in an entry dated Monday, December 24th. According to Rossum, she’s already filming the movie and has been doing martial arts training for it.

More:

Sorry I’ve been rather quiet for a bit, I’ve been working on a very exciting new film that I’m shooting outside the US. I’m working with the great Chow Yun Fat and I’m very excited about the role, which is so different than any role I’ve ever played. I love the character and I’m excited to get to share something so fun with you. In prep for the film I’ve been training very hard, learning how to fight, fire a gun, weapons training and even some martial arts. It’s fun to play such a different character when I am such a pacifist in real life. Speaking of pacifisim and peace, I want to wish everyone a happy, healthy holiday and New Year.

No one still knows what role Emmy Rossum will be playing in “Dragonball”, but apparently whatever role it is, it’ll include fighting, gunplay, weapons, and martial arts!

See what I mean about those so-called fans supporting this cinematic monstrucity instead of boycotting it aren’t true fans at all? Those guys don’t even know that Kuririn and Tenshinhan are the standard names.

super saiyan 09 on May 16, 2008

Must Americans refer to them as Krillin and Tien Priverson.

super saiyan 09 on May 19, 2008

She freaking hot. And Priverson I doubt you know Mercenary/General Tao’s standard name.

Priverson on May 19, 2008

I have the feeling some Americans are so self centered that apart from having a hand in pissing every Asian off they are losing their sense of grammar

Oh I forgot the aposterphe and the s big freakin woop dee doo. I guess you don’t know Mercenary/General Tao’s standard name.

Priverson on May 20, 2008

Really, if there’s someone from the Dragonball world right now I’ll like to summon, it’ll be Tao Pai Pai so that I can send him at those selfish Americans who just want to take the series as their own. Only problem with that is I’ll need several oku zeni-

Better Yet Priverson he would make a spirit bomb and use it on everyone whi’s criticizing because that’s him and his friends you’re talking trash about. As for you David you must have liked the whoop dee doo part. Glad you did.

Uhhggg, super saiyan 09… What a typical guy.
Americans always ruin Japanese things, anyways. I doubt this will be different.

Emmy Rossum! She’s beautiful so who cares who she is in the movie! I heard Bulma, but I’ll watch it with or without her. I’m interested to see if this movie is actually decent, or a flop. I hope it’s good because I was a fan in my younger days. To the Japanese folks, if the movie turns out bad, make one that’s good. Think about it. The Hulk movie was just recently re-done, for the better I think. One more thing, the characters from this series are cool, but fictitious. None of them will be doing any beating or spirit-bombing of any kind. I hope if they use CG at all that it won’t look like trash. We’ll find out when the movie is released. I’m going to see it though to judge for myself.
