If you’re not sure about the timeline for Gavin Hood’s upcoming “Ender’s Game”, based on the book by Orson Scott Card, here’s a handy little infographic cooked up by the folks at Summit to get you up to date. In short, it starts with the invasion of China, then ends with Ender taking over the fleet.

Any questions?

ENDER’S GAME takes place in the near future, when a hostile alien race called the Formics have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley), all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) and the International Military are training only the best young minds to find the future Mazer. Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a shy but strategically brilliant boy, is recruited to join the elite. Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters increasingly difficult challenges and simulations, distinguishing himself and winning respect amongst his peers. Ender is soon ordained by Graff as the military’s next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he’s trained by Mazer Rackham himself to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.

“Ender’s Game” stars Asa Butterfield, Ben Kingsley, Harrison Ford, Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin and Viola Davis.

Ender ends it all this October 31st.

i have never seen a synopsis with so many spoilers, i remember reading the book for the first time and even the third time, that moment when you realise stuff like Mazer and the final twist, made the book legendary. Now, the whole movie ruined it from the beginning, wont have as good an impact at all.
still gonna see it though, big fan of the ender’s series
