Although the embedded clip is essentially the same as the trailer we posted a while back for the upcoming Japanese action flick “Karate Girl” — or, as it’s also known in certain circles, “High Kick Girl 2″ — it’s kind of cool to see what, exactly, the film is all about. Of course, the plot isn’t anything original or mind-blowing, and only serves to display the talents of its talented star. In other words, it’s not a mind-blowing example of cinematic storytelling. Were you expecting something deeper? I certainly hope not.
“Karate Girl” opens in Japan on February 5th, 2011.
