Epic Full Trailer for Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln

Oscar bait? You bet your ass. Then again, with Steven Spielberg behind the camera, Daniel Day-Lewis in front of it, and Abraham Lincoln as the topic, I don’t suppose there’s any way in you could possibly say any less about “Lincoln”. It definitely looks like it has the makings of a contender come Awards season, even if, well, we all know how it’s going to end. But that’s the trick with epic bio pics, right? Everyone knows how it’s going to end, so the getting there part has to be even more spectacular. Does “Lincoln” succeed? We’ll find out in November.

Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award® winner Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,” a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery.     What the Hell is this crap? Where are the freaking vampires?!? LOL

    But seriously this looks amazing. Daniel Day-Lewis is a fantastic actor who completely becomes whatever character he’s playing. This will be a great film.

    The voice still surprises me more than anything, having recently re-watched Gangs of New York & There Will Be Blood.

    Dunno why, but I do wanna see this.

    Anybody else feel like they need to put up an epileptic seizure warning before viewing that trailer? Don’t get me wrong it looks like a good film. But, man, let the scenes play out just a little.

    Can’t wait to see it though.
