Eric Bana Heads for Dubai Action-Thriller

Eric Bana’s next movie is “The Time Traveler’s Wife” opposite Rachel McAdams, which starts shooting September, but he’s already slotted the action-thriller “Dubai” for sometime in, one presumes, 2008. “Dubai” is a spec script by Adam Cozad, about a young American economist who gets caught up in a highly coordinated international attack on the U.S. economy in the “very exotic world of Dubai”. Bana is producing the film with Lorenzo di Bonaventura for Paramount.

I think it’s also a given that Bana will be starring in the film too, since The Hollywood Reporter calls “Dubai” a “passion project” for Bana. You don’t make something a “passion” and not want to star in it.

Personally I would have preferred to see Eric Bana do the Hulk sequel…
