Add former Bond girl Eva Green to Johnny Depp and Tim Burton’s big screen version of “Dark Shadows”. Green has landed the female lead opposite Depp’s Barnabas Collins, and will be playing Angelique, a powerful witch who is both tormented and bewitched by her love-hate relationship with Collins.
Lara Parker originally played the role in the ’60s series, while Lysette Anthony took over in the ’90s rebooted version.
Green, who can next be seen showing off a British accent in Starz’s “Camelot” TV series, will join Jackie Earle Haley and Bella Heathcoate, who are also in negotiations to join the long-in-development Burton movie.
