Eva Mendes’ Curve Gets Picked Up

Written by Nix | February 21st, 2008 | 0 Comments |

The last time we heard about “Curve”, it was the middle of 2007, when it was announced Eva Mendes had signed up to star as the film’s damsel-in-distress. The latest new is that Scatter Light Productions will produce the movie from a script by Kimberly Lofstrom Johnson. The THR article doesn’t mention Mendes, but we assume she’s still slotted to star.

More:

The story centers on a woman who offers a ride to a good Samaritan after he helps her fix her car. When the man tries to attack her, she attempts an emergency maneuver that lands her trapped in her car in a ravine, with the man waiting for her to weaken.

If this thing ends up getting made, it’ll have a budget of around $5 million-$10 million, making it a “low-budget indie” film in the eyes of Hollywood.
