Even More Dragonball Evolution Pics to Get Mad At
Dragonball: Evolution (2009) Movie, Movie Images — By Nix on January 6, 2009
Hey look, Dragonball fans, it’s Goku, and he’s fighting with two guys! But don’t feel too sorry for these guys; they were probably trying to steal his cool four-wheel futuristic ATV vehicle or something equally bad guy-ish. Either that, or they were giving him “the eye”, and no one likes that, especially if your name is Goku and you have bedhead. Where was I? Oh right, I was sitting at home one day and it occurred to me, you Dragonball kids still don’t know how you feel about the upcoming Fox movie, so I thought I’d help you out by offering up even more images from “Dragonball: Evolution” to help you decide.
The young warrior Son Goku sets out on a quest, racing against time and the vengeful King Piccolo, to collect a set of seven magical orbs that will grant their wielder unlimited power.
Starring Justin Chatwin as Goku, James Marsters as his arch fiend Piccolo, Emmy Rossum as the hot to trot Bulma, and Yun-Fat Chow as the Old Asian Guy Who Has to Teach the White Kid How to Fight. The whole shebang is directed by James Wong, who will either become the new Uwe Boll in the fanverse after this movie, or the most brilliant Hollywood director of all time.

flopity doo dah flopity movie my oh my this looks worse than Batman and Robin, Why does piccolo have human minions? Oh fox just won’t quit now they’ve gone too far, when will you learn fox when will you learn? It’s a waste of money and waste of time. They’re only making this just to tick us off. Why can’t they just back to making the Simpsons and Family Guy?
First the fullum are monsters.
They made them monsters
what do you guys think of the zippity doo dah parody?
lol..bruv I won’t even bother with this movie or it’s update.
The same goes to the new Street Fighter movie. Legend of Chun Li.
Movie quality looks exactly like this movie.
I’ll be sticking with X-Men Origins.
Its funny how everyone is so quick to put down this movie without even watching it. Like the saying go’s don’t judge a book by its cover and the same go’s for the Street Fighter movie. I’ll make my final judgement after I see the movie. Haven’t we all seen movie’s that look good by the actors who are playing them and the tailer and the movie ended up being so so or bad?…so just give it a chance. The movie does not come out till April and they are still working on the special effects. If you have the people who did Superman Returns, Spiderman 2, 300 and the Matrix movies it can’t be half bad especiallly with a 100 million doller + budget!
yeah, the effects aren’t finished
yeah, the actual movie might look good
haven’t we’ve been hearing all these kinds of excuses defending this crap ever since production started, and ever time more news came out those who are boycotting this turned out to be right?
its easy to judge something when its pure garbage……. i agree on not judging a book by its cover, but this isnt a book, its bullsh!t made to make money. its hollywood bs. all effects zero talent. cast and crew sucked. story line sucked it chopped up db and had zero to do with the serie. how would american’s like it if the japanese made a movie about super man but Clark Kent / Superman was a japanese dude. thats what fox did here. i dont care what people say goku was japanese. he may of not been from earth but same with superman and hes a white guy. all in all the movie sucked big time i only watched 10 mins and i was about to blow my brains out
LSB, you can’t be serious with your comment…are you kidding me? LOL!
wtf is wrong with every one yes i will see this crappy movie and i will see the crappy street fighter movie cause laets face it we are all intrigued by how bad they screw the movie up ok personally i want to see in prayers they dotn fuck up, xmen origins, watchmen, transformers 2, and gi joe along with some others maybe we should give them a chance as a movie goer and a movie critic i will mayb dragonball is something diffrent, maybes its somthing new something no ones every seen seriously maybe its better theyn stayed away from the series exactly the way it is. maybe this newer updated story will be better and faster and keep us wanting more(doubt it but well see)
Wrong!! THIS MOVIE WILL ROCK!! You know why. James Masters and Justin Chatwin says why they did what they did. The reason Goku is a teenager is because they wanted to show a stronger Goku.
Hey, someone get us a shot of live action goku getting his ass handed to him. I got a few photoshop edits I need to make.
Ok. I don’t even know where to start, with how bad this is going to be. There are just some things or books/comics/manga that can’t be made into a movie. This kid as Goku? Are you serious? How hard would it have been to dye his hair black? , In the Dragonball verse, he should be like 12 or something. It wasn’t until the end of Dragonball that he aged. In one of the promo’s he was all about the self doubt. Uh…Goku probably doesn’t even know what self doubt is. So, basically I’m just supposed to watch a movie with the characters from Dragonball and watch as Hollywood butchers the storyline and characterization? Cool.
This move has some good things going for it…
1. Director: James Wong – Has made some good movies in the past
2. Producer: Stephen Chow – Made Kungfu Hustle which kicked ass
3. Goku: Justin Chatwin – Very good actor, watch War of the Worlds or The Invisible.
These guys have the daunting task of taking the goofy ass Dragonball world and trying to make sense of it so it can translate to the big screen. Lets give them a chance.
1. James Wong may have made a few good movies in the past, but this is CERTAINLY NOT one of them.
2. Stephen Chow is NOT INVOLVED in this movie. He was only put on the staff list to cheat people into the cinemas, and NONE of his great ideas that may have saved this movie got accepted.
3. You\’re serious about Shitwin being a good actor!?
It’s not fair how James Wong is getting all the blame dumped on him.
Wong actually WANTED Krillin to be in this movie among other things. He and Chow have been the ones pushing to stay true to the source material.
All the major changes we’re seeing were determined by 20th Century Fox and Ben Ramsey. If Wong can pull off even half a decent movie with this, he’ll be a great director in my eyes. If not, just blame Fox for messing with the director’s vision. The guy’s getting burned from both ends right now where he’s trying please the fans AND keep his job.
