Hey look, Dragonball fans, it’s Goku, and he’s fighting with two guys! But don’t feel too sorry for these guys; they were probably trying to steal his cool four-wheel futuristic ATV vehicle or something equally bad guy-ish. Either that, or they were giving him “the eye”, and no one likes that, especially if your name is Goku and you have bedhead. Where was I? Oh right, I was sitting at home one day and it occurred to me, you Dragonball kids still don’t know how you feel about the upcoming Fox movie, so I thought I’d help you out by offering up even more images from “Dragonball: Evolution” to help you decide.
The young warrior Son Goku sets out on a quest, racing against time and the vengeful King Piccolo, to collect a set of seven magical orbs that will grant their wielder unlimited power.
Starring Justin Chatwin as Goku, James Marsters as his arch fiend Piccolo, Emmy Rossum as the hot to trot Bulma, and Yun-Fat Chow as the Old Asian Guy Who Has to Teach the White Kid How to Fight. The whole shebang is directed by James Wong, who will either become the new Uwe Boll in the fanverse after this movie, or the most brilliant Hollywood director of all time.

LOL… I actually think that the 1989 live action movie “Dragonball: The Magic Begins” will be way better than this dragonball movie.

@Mr D Ballz the other Dragonball movie will not be better then this movie I put my life on that…..are you KIDING ME!!!!!!! give me a brake. I think every superhero movie that I’ve seen was not like the comic book or cartoon. People complanied about those movie’s and they still made a lot of money. But really how can they get a twelve year old to be Goku act and know martial arts? I know Justin didn’t know martial arts but at his age it is easier to teach him then a pre-teen! I think the movie will surprise a lot of people(in a good way).
@LSB, sorry but I know 9year olds that know martial arts better than most. I think the movie should had been name something else, maybe mortal combat. Dragonball, should had never been changed so much for this movie. I saw that piccolo has a sword, there is no krillin and why is Roshi, a young guy, and that bet not be Grandpa Gohan, because he is a post to be dead before the story even began. I will not be going to see this movies, I might download it for free, or just get the bootleg. And I don’t understand, everyone knows that Kami/Piccolo made the dragonballs when they landed on earth, and was “ONE”. I wish this movie will never come out, but since it is, I will like someone else to do a re-make of the movie but then it might be to late (Hulk for example) the Hulk had a remake in a 2year range. I think FOX has gone to far, because I am a huge fan of Dragonball series, Even though I am 20, but anyway. This movie is making me mad, every time I hear what FOX did to it.
Another good thing about having Justin playing Goku is that he will be able to play a more convincing older Goku when they make the sequels which they almost surely will do (this movie will bank big time off the japanese showings and will make a good amount in the US). If they had some 12 year old playing Goku for the first one we would have a repeat of the latest Star Wars atrocities that we all watched. Chatwin doesnt look his age, so when they have him fighting Raditz and/or Vegeta in the sequel that will make sense… Then if they make a third movie he will be in the right spot age wise to play Goku as a SS.

Actually some people have good points. 1. Mature 16 year old Goku is who needs to fight King Piccolo not Kid Goku. This gets him ready to fight Piccolo Jr. in the sequel and Raditz, Vegeta, and Nappa in the 3rd movie.
2. Don’t blame Chow and Wong blame stupid ass fox for fucking with the original story when they should be making more Simpsons and Family Guy episodes instead of this. Just consider another retelling of dragonball that’s f’d up.

this movie looks like it will be pretty cool. The pictures look great as new way of looking at dragonball. whether you guys like it or not is none of my concern, i think its gonna rock hard like Smallville or Xmen or sumthin’

man ,FOX fack up Xmen 1 and 3 , xmen 2 was the best of them all, and they know that, that’s why the xmen 4 is all about Wolverine.
their completely fucking up the whole story line and making dragonball look like a joke gimme a break the whole damn point of dragonball is goku being a kid living in the woods he didnt even know what school was until he met bulma making a movie about dragonball has got to be put together way better than this they know what people want out of this movie and thats all the shit they took out especially krillin and made it seem like some hi tech fake as kung fu movie with a shit load of fake props piccolo doesnt even have antennas this movie is just the opposite of what people want from what i can tell and they should have reconsidered it but i don’t make my final judgement until after i see it but i have a feeling i’m gonna be disappointed
Everyone who is fucking says this movie is gonna suck shut the fuck up we dont want to hear your winning okay its a fucking movie. Its supposed to be different from the anime thats why its a movie. How are you guys even judging it if you havent fucking ssen it yet. Now stop acting like little fucking kids and move on with your pathetic lives.
But if it’s nothing like the anime then why make an adaptation in the first place?

I don’t understand you, no body cares about them making the movie, its what they took out and then put in. No body is bitching or anything, everyone just want to see what they have been waiting for, and now its just a fighting movie that FOX came up with, like I said. It should of been named something else.
I hear what everybody is saying. I don’t think people are bitching and are pissed with how bad this movie is. People can just not watch it and be done with that. I think people are pissed, because after so long, they’re finally getting their favorite anime adapted into a live action movie. And with how much this one is gonna suck thier gonna have to wait a few more years for someone to do another adaption. And people aren’t getting any younger. So yeah, people have the right to be pissed. The people that don’t understand them aren’t Dragonball fans, in which case they shouldn’t have opened up this review in the first place.
