Let’s face it, Roger Ebert is going to take one look at this three-minute long trailer for Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables” and cream his pants in shock that Hollywood is still making this kind of movie. Heck, he might even write a long article about the evils of too many explosions in one movie. The rest of us, meanwhile, are gonna eat it up, cause what’s more fun than watching a bunch of invincible tough guys blowing up a small country and getting the girl at the end? Not one damn thing. And yeah, I’ll grant you that Jet’s English seems to have gotten worst, but what the hell, since when do you watch a Jet Li movie for the acting?
“The Expendables” star Sylvester Stallone , Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, David Zayas, Giselle Itié, Terry Crews, Mickey Rourke, and is directed by Stallone.
Stallone and company will either blow your mind or blow you up August 20, 2010.
Chances are this trailer, like the bootleg that was posted a while back, ain’t gonna last, and I don’t know when the official one is going to hit the interwebs. Until then, enjoy, and don’t forget to change your pants afterwards.
