Extended Red Band Trailer for The Devil Inside

The Devil Inside (2012) Movie Image

What better way to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior than an extended Red Band trailer for William Brent Bell’s “The Devil Inside”? Yeah, I’d say we’re on the right track here, kids. For the uninitiated, the film follows a woman who becomes involved in a series of unauthorized exorcisms during her mission to discover what happened to her mother in Italy, where her mum allegedly murdered three people during her own exorcism. Hurray, happy family reunion? Well only if you’re not one of the three people the old lady apparently murdered, anyway. Not so much for them, as you can imagine.

Or for those of you who prefer your movie synopsis to be more official, here it is:

In 1989, emergency responders received a 9-1-1 call from Maria Rossi confessing that she had brutally killed three people. 20 years later, her daughter Isabella seeks to understand the truth about what happened that night. She travels to the Centrino Hospital for the Criminally Insane in Italy where her mother has been locked away to determine if her mother is mentally ill or demonically possessed. When she recruits two young exorcists to cure her mom using unconventional methods combining both science and religion, they come face-to-face with pure evil in the form of four powerful demons possessing Maria.

What I said.

The film stars Fernanda Andrade, Simon Quarterman, Evan Helmuth, Suzan Crowley, Bonnie Morgan, Brian Johnson, Talyan Wright and Maude Bonanni, and is due out in Stateside theaters January 6, 2012.
