Lionsgate has released a second, longer TV spot for their upcoming reboot of “Conan the Barbarian”, starring Jason Momoa as the titular Barbarian and Rachel Nichols as his damsel in distress. “Avatar’s” Stephen Lang is the big, scarred baddie, with Rose McGowan as his witchy sidekick. The first 30 seconds of the new spot is the same as the previously release one, but then you get 30 extra seconds of new footage after that. Definitely worth a look if you’re into the reboot.
The most legendary Barbarian of all time is back this Summer. Having thrived and evolved for eight consecutive decades in the public imagination- in prose and graphics, on the big screen and small, in games and properties of all kinds- Conan’s exploits in the Hyborian Age now come alive like never before in a colossal 3D action-adventure film. A quest that begins as a personal vendetta for the fierce Cimmerian warrior soon turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds, as Conan realizes he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil.
Starring Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman, Rose McGowan, Rachel Nichols, Jason Momoa, Leo Howard, Saïd Taghmaoui, Bob Sapp, Nonso Anozie, Marco Khan, Raw Leiba, and directed by reboot go-to guy Marcus Nispel.
