Facinelli, Reaser Sign Up for Vampire Flick Twilight, First Images

I’ve been a fan of Elizabeth Reaser (pictured below) since “Sweet Land”, so it’s good to hear that she’s been cast in the vampire movie “Twilight”, which is based on a series of young-adult novels by Stephenie Meyer. Peter Facinelli and Jackson Rathbone also join the cast, which already includes the film’s two young leads, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The film is basically vampires in high school.

“Twilight,” a vampire tale that also contains strong elements of a high-school romance, tells the story of a girl (Stewart) who moves to a small town in Washington state to live with her father and is drawn to a mysterious classmate named Edward Cullen (Pattinson) who turns out to be a vampire. She then encounters the entire Cullen family, all of whom are creatures of the night.
So wait, if the heroine’s classmate turns out to be a vampire, how does he go to school in the daytime? Or are they changing up the vamp rules here?
Anyways, there are three installments in the “Twilight” series — the first is “Twilight”, followed by “New Moon” and “Eclipse”. Catherine Hardwicke will direct from a script by Melissa Rosenberg.

K! im a fan of the book and everything n i cant weight for the movie to come out. when i read the first book i just couldn’t stop . my best friend tia gets mad at me because i have been reading just to much my teachers get mad at me cause i refuse to do my homework until i get the the next chapter. amd i think that i can put me in bellas shoes because ive been there. wel not all of it exactly but i think that i no exactly what they all look like and ….

robert pattinson is the hottest actor and you are nothing like bella i can tell you that by the way u rite your mean something she is not so some advise is to be yourself and maybe people will wanna be U!!!

i kind of agree i dont like the charecters for esme and rosalie but i gotta say i like edward-richard hes perfect yes bella too skinny face too perky emmet not bulky i loved the books i cant stop reading them over and over i just wish i was bella how cool would that be i feel so depressed that none of this is possible and by the way alice jasper and carlisle are perfect for the part as i was saying so depressed i feel no interest in this so boring and nonmagical life i want a real experience in my life i want a challenge a……..an adventure something impossible LIFES NOT FARE just boring sorry bout the whole paragraph just so much to say

i have read the first book 5 times so i know all the details of the characters. how you say that jasper should have black hair is so wrong. in the book when jessica is introducing the cullen family she says “the two blondes are jasper and rosaline hale” and get real there is no real edward cullen -although i sure wish there was- so you cant have this perfect man to play him NO ONE IN THE REAL WORLD IS THAT PERFECT!!! summit entertainment did the best they could and that was not right to hate on the cast. at least we fans get to see the most awesome book come to life like we see in our minds -we all have our own edward, bella, carslie, rosaline, esmee, etc. so how can one person develop what one person thinks is the perfect cast. have some respect.
ok…..Edward Cullen is so hot, so dont say he isnt coz then ppl will start baggin u (and I will be 1 of them). Jasper is perfect, he is just as good as the others so dont go baggin him either. I agree that Alice is perfect. They describe Edward perfectly in the book: Golden honey brown hair, marble skin. That was already a perfect description that was in the book. Bella is not ugly, and FYI you dont have 2 have buliemia or anorexia to be in a movie. Bella is fine, she isnt fat!!! Bella is suppossed to be kind of plain. Emmett is buff, Carlisleis handsome and hot,Rosalie is a BEAUTIFUL blonde and last Esme, Esme is nice and thoughtful, you can see it in her eyes AND SHE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE A WITCH!!!!!!
You need to get ur facts right Tayler, coz at the moment they r completely wrong….oh and no, as if u can relate to Bella, u havent met a HOT vampire family, u have never seen anything close to the Volturi, u didnt nearly get squished and the love of ur life stopped u from dying. they should have picked tom sturridge as edward. he’s super handsome. not hot, handsome. very classy, like edward. what is up with emmett. looks very weird. as well as carlisle. oh my gosh. oh by the way, im just trying to spread the word about McFly. the bestest band in the whole wide world. their from england though, so they need more fans here so they can tour. dougie!!!!!

One if you are goning to insult some one make sure you know how to SPELL!!!!!(tayler) Second if you think that anyone else should play Edward you are sadly mistaken. Ipersonally think he is perfect for the part. and Third if you don’t like who they cast for the movie then don’t watch the freakin movie.

I don’t think that anyone is perfect enough to play the part of edward. the way that i view him is completely incapable of being brought into the movie. the books make him completely god like, and its even hard to get him just right when you picture him in your head. although i do think that they did a good job in casting. the only complaint that i have is i don’t like the girl who is playing alice. shes the farthest thing in the world from how i picture her. when stephenie meyer was choosing who she thought should play, i think rachel lee cook would have been perfect. she is so tiny. and alice is supposed to have pixie like black hair
I totally agree with you on the Alice thing and I like all the characters in the movie they just need to do better at their acting skills. I think Jasper was freakin hot in the baseball scene and needs to be more like that during the whole movie.
alice does have pixie black hair, she is tiny, and it doesnt matter what u think, stephanie thought that she was goos 4 the part, so, that is what matters, what stephanie pictured her as… but u r right about edward no 1 could really bring him 2 life… she makes him sound so god- like and amazingly handsome and classy
You have to think, they’re not in the costumes, hair and makeup yet, I mean there is a little less then a year until the movie comes out, and some big changes can happen between now and then.
I happen to love the person playing Edward, I think he’s a fine actor after seeing him in Harry Potter. I can’t wait! :]
i dislike the character that plas edward cullen hes cute and all but hes just not write to play him!!!
Robert Pattinson is the best person to play the part. actually i think that everyone is the perfect person for the part. Ashley Green (Alice) is the only person who could fit the part and i think that if someone wanted to change it i would have to kill them.

quite honestly, i agree with katie with the casting of edward. i don’t think that they could cast him and make everyone happy. he’s not human so it’s impossible to cast him and get all of his amazing good looks. i think robert pattinson will do just fine as edward.
now bella is another matter. yes, i think that kristen stewart will be an ok bella, but they could have definitely picked someone who fit better.
as with the other cast members, they’re all ok. emmett looks the part but should be more buff, rosalie looks like she’s wearing a wig to me, and carlisle and esme look too old. but these are just my opinions, which i’m not everyone shares.
one last thing, tayler, jasper does not have black hair. the cullens try to pass off rosalie and jasper as twins, so they both have blonde hair. and i agree with everyone else that’s commented on your spelling, you need definite help with that.
