The last time we heard about Benderspink’s plans to bringing the indie comic book “Last Blood” to the big screen, it was April 1st of this year, and I think most people thought it was an April Fools joke. Sure sounded funky, but no, it’s actually the real thing. It took them a while, but the Benderspink folks have finally found a writer to adapt the comic book for them. That man is Family Guy showrunner/producer, David A. Goodman, who will be getting first crack at turning a comic book about a post-apocalyptic world where vampires must keep the remaining human survivors alive from zombies because, well, without humans, they won’t have blood to drink.
THR has more:
“Last Blood,” created by Bobby Crosby and Chris Crosby, follows the human survivors of a zombie massacre who find themselves protected by a band of vampires who need their blood to survive.
Man, it sure sucks to be a vampire in a zombie-ravaged post-apocalyptic world, huh? Get it? Sucks? Oh man, this stuff is pure genius, I tell ya.
