Check Out This Fan-Made Trailer for Zack Snyder’s Batman/Superman Movie

Batman Superman Logo

I’ve been seeing this fan-made trailer for Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel” sequel, aka the untitled Batman/Superman movie around the Interwebs for a few days now. I think it’s okay, but it didn’t really floor me, but apparently it got a lot of tongues wagging and lots of people really like it, so I thought I’d go ahead and post it and let the rest of you decide for yourself.

According to the guy who edited it together, he was already halfway done with the trailer when Warner Bros. officially announced that Ben Affleck would be playing Batman to Henry Cavill’s Superman in the movie. It’s a good thing, then, that there are plenty of Affleck movies laying around, including the much-maligned “Daredevil”, which I still contend was a decent superhero movie. Not great, mind you, but considering the utter superhero crap that was coming out around the same time as “Daredevil”, it had its moments. (Then again, maybe I was just mesmerized by Jennifer Garner’s ridiculous zero body fat throughout the movie. Who knows?)

They’ve also spliced in Bryan Cranston, who has long been rumored to be playing Lex Luthor. It would be a major coup if they got Cranston for the role, and his “Breaking Bad” shaved head certainly makes it a no-brainer. Of course, whether Malcolm’s dad wants to commit to what will no doubt be a major recurring character, is anybody’s guess.

So what do you think of the fan-made trailer?

This is one of the best fan made trailers that i have seen. Very well done.

    • Dedpool

I agree. It’s very well done, the sound bites alone are worth it.

If you were indeed mesmerized then Elektra would’ve been the greatest comic book movie ever made. So I think you are safe sir, I also liked it when it came out.

    • Nix

I actually never saw Elektra. Go figure.

      • Dedpool

Don’t do it to yourself. Just don’t. I own it cause I’m a completionist, but avoid at all costs. If I’m saying that, you know it’s bad cause I can be pretty damned forgiving.

  • Dedpool

I’m with you Nix, DD wasn’t bad at all. And what WAS bad about it had nothing to do with Affleck. The “Director’s Cut” is an even better film in my opinion.
