Cyborg in Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013) Movie Image

Your first clip from D.C.’s latest original animated movie “Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox” finds Cyborg and his team (which apparently includes a bunch of kids) trying to recruit a reluctant (and shall we say, dismissive) Batman into joining their ranks and helping to put a stop to a potentially apocalyptic war that could, yes, tear the D.C. universe apart. Hey, if the entire universe isn’t at stake, what’s the point, am I right?

Plus, some new images from the upcoming animated movie.

When time travel allows a past wrong to be righted for Flash and his family, the event’s temporal ripples prove disastrous, creating a fractured, alternate reality where the Justice League never formed, and even Superman is nowhere to be found. Amidst a new world being ravaged by a fierce war between Wonder Woman’s Amazons and Aquaman’s Atlanteans, Flash must team with a grittier, more violent Batman and government agent Cyborg to restore the continuity of Flash’s original timeline.

For those attending this year’s Comic Con, “Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox” will be having its World Premiere at the shindig on Friday, July 19 from 7:30-9:30pm in Ballroom 20. So mark your calenders, geek boys and geek girls!

The Flash and pals race onto Blu-Ray Combo Pack and DVD on July 30, 2013.

I really can’t wait for this. I love alternate timelines and such and I’m glad to see we’ll get an animated movie with one. I’ve always thought DC should release one mainstream story and one Elseworlds tale every year in animated form. THere’s a wealth of alternate takes that they can use.
