First Clip from the Animated Green Lantern Emerald Knights

“Green Lantern: Emerald Knights”, not to be confused with the Ryan Reynolds live-action movie, is the latest in D.C.’s excellent line of direct-to-DVD original animated movies, and stars Nathan Fillion as the animated Hal Jordan, Earth’s first Green Lantern, and “Mad Men’s” Elisabeth Moss as Arisia, his protege and GL noob. Jason Isaacs fills in as the evil-in-waiting Sinestro, with Arnold Vosloo, Kelly Hu, and Henry Rollins rounding out the voice cast.

As the home planet of the Green Lantern Corps faces a battle with an ancient enemy, Hal Jordan prepares new recruit Arisia for the coming conflict by relating stories of the first Green Lantern and several of Hal’s comrades.

Here’s your first clip from the movie, which introduces Arisia to the twisty corridors of the GL corp. The animated film is due out on DVD and Blu-ray June 7th (ten days before the live-action movie) from Warner Home Video.

Was a little taken back by Sinestro’s voice for second.

It’s not Victor Garber, but it’s good. I’ll be getting this.

No disrespect to Mark Strong, but I think Jason Isaacs caould also make a FANTATIC Sinestro.

Actually that’ a very good casting choice for a relacement if Strong ever drops out.
