First Concept Art for Nickelodeon’s New TMNT CG Show

Apparently you can’t keep a hero in a half-shell down forever. After running out of steam in a series of increasingly awful movies, Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman’s mutated, crime-fighting ninja turtles are due back on the big screen very soon, and will also be making a returned foray onto TV land in an all-new CG animated series.

The new TMNT show is coming to Nickelodeon sometime in 2012, and here’s your first look at some concept art recently revealed by the Wall Street Journal (via Geek Tyrant).

I’ll be honest with you, there’s nothing radically different here. This could just have been a panel from the original comic books, though I suppose they do seem to have bandages all over their arms and legs, which is, I guess, new?

Not bad. The squared large hands and feet remind me alot of the original comic art. I also like the taped up hands and feet.
