Wow. I don’t quite know what’s happening in these 20 or so seconds snippet from the trailer for Brad Pitt’s troubled zombie opus “World War Z”. Are those zombies crashing into things like waves of water? I knew the zombies in the film would be of the fast variety, but those are, uh, pretty fast. Ridiculously fast, in fact. How exactly are you going to survive these? Anyways, here’s your first look at the upcoming trailer for “World War Z”, due out this Thursday. Until then, Entertainment Tonight has a 30-second spot boasting about their exclusive premiere of the trailer. Looks like they’ve diverted quite a bit from the book, but that’s probably to be expected.

A U.N. employee is racing against time and fate, as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly Zombie pandemic.

“World War Z” also stars Eric West, Matthew Fox, David Morse, James Badge Dale, Mireille Enos, David Andrews, Michiel Huisman, and is directed by Marc Forster.

The war begins June 21, 2013.

i enjoyed the book so much. i was excited when i first heard that they were going to make a movie of it. this trailer doesn’t seem like anything from the book.

Those zombies look like a tidal wave. I’m guessing they really aren’t traditional zombies?

Looks like this thing is going into extensive reshoot. at the moment, it’s a like a 59 minute movie.

People people people ! Please ! come on….. What movie has ever been made where the idea came from a book and they changed nothing about it ? what would be the point in making a movie about zombies if you couldn’t put a new spin on it ? Who the hell says zombies can’t run or hunt in a pack or set an ambush… ? We can’t have the same old Z bs with every flick they come out with. The book was AWESOME ! I’m happy they made a movie out of it, so it runs it’s own path aside from the book …so what !?!?
