Check out the first brutal looking trailer for director Paul Hyett’s revenge-minded flick “The Seasoning House”. The film has been playing the festival circuits all year, and our own James Mudge saw it at Frightfest back in September and liked it. (You can read his review of the film here.) The British film pits Rosie Day against genre veteran Sean Pertwee, and may the best teenage girl with a big knife win. Sorry, Sean.
The Seasoning House – where young girls are prostituted to the military. An orphaned deaf mute is enslaved to care for them. She moves between the walls and crawlspaces, planning her escape. Planning her ingenious and brutal revenge.
“The Seasoning House” also stars Kevin Howarth, Anna Walton, Jemma Powell, Alec Utgoff, David Lemberg, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, and is due in UK theaters sometime in 2013. No word on a Stateside release date yet.
