The first image from the upcoming “Alien vs. Predator 2: Requiem” has arrived (via), and it shows a picture (thumbnail to your left, bigger version below) of a Predator going toe-to-toe with what looks like an Alien/Predator hybrid while both are drenched in the rain. I don’t know, unless there are more to the hybrid, it sure doesn’t look all that fearsome. Isn’t it supposed to look tougher than both the Aliens and the Predators? Oh well, it’s just a single still, maybe the rest of it will look better. I still have hopes for this movie, even though I get the feeling no one else does.

The sequel stars Reiko Aylesworth, Steven Pasquale, Gina Holden, David Hornsby, Johnny Lewis, and is due out December 25th, 2007. Yum, just in time for Christmas dinner.
