Color me surprised. I didn’t know James Wong’s “Dragonball” live-action movie was already shooting. Well it is, down south in Mexico City, where these pictures of star Justin Chatwin were snapped on the set. Chatwin will be playing the oddly named Goku, the movie’s hero. Nice car, Goku.
A young boy named Goku seeks out upon his grandfather’s dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls (of which he has one) in order to prevent Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world.

OKOKOK i hated the idea of this movie at first and i still do. BUT. lets be fair. GOKU is an alien. who said hes gotta be japanese. it would have been a better choice but c’mon. BUT EVERYONE ELSE is fucked up. why is roshi so fuckin young. I know the creator says look at it as another demension but are we not sick of seeeing white boys learn how to fight? c’mon now. im not knockin white people its just that story has been over done too many times since the 70’s. and WHERE THE FUCK IS KRILLIN?????!?!???

wtf is this bs dis guy is too damn skinny and hes got a freakin mullet/mohawk type thing happening.When i first saw his pics posted on the website when he had longer hair i thought he really looked like a young goku and may be able to pull it off.But what in the hell was james wong think by cutting it fn short he would of being perfectly fine with the original concept hair and it can be done asd proven in speed racer )joon park ring a bell).there is absolutely no reason for that stupid ass poof james wong to change the hair around as well as the story plot line etc. pretty much everything.This is evidence that picccolo (jame marsters) will not be in any makeup or motion captured cgi’d at all they’ll just leave him looking like a human fn jame wong i knew he’d f it up from the fkn start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heared somewhere that they will be using “ADVANCED” CGI to make Chatwin’s hair look like Goku’s. But they can’t make it look too much like the anime Goku’s it would look stupid and cheezy. And I heared that the Namekians(in later films) and Picollo will be able to shape-shift so he can make himself look human in public, but he will mostly be in his green reptillian form that we all know and love. As for the shoulder pads-cape and the turbin I don’t know what Wong’s plan will be/ Keeping my fingers crossed though. Hoping that this will be the summer hit.
He doesn’t go super sayin in Dragon Ball anime. but i hope they change the story around a bit
What the Hell is wrong with yall… you all just killed my favorite anime Character… That is not Goku that is in fact a Hobbitt! wtf this movie is gonna blow… bad part is ima watch it… just to laugh, then go watch all the good seasons and REAL movies on dvd!
ummmm…..I kinda have an idea what it would look like in real life. when they took this pic they were not filming it. In real life they are suppose to be thin. in real life they dont look huge. they are adding special effects anyway………I also saw in the backround, there is the same car as you can see in transformers………I think his face looks sharp and great for a super saiyan……..As you can see the clothing is orange which is seen on the charecters the one with the kenji of master roshi….If you have watched naruto, when they are in the tornaments you can see ino as wearing orange…i do see many simalarities…..in the anime dbz they have sighns showing the inoshikacho as you can see from episode 82 which is short for ino…. trust me i know what it looks like.
I am not flaming or endorsing the movie. I happen to love Dragonball/Z/GT and personally cant wait to see it. But I do hope they make Goku at least bulked up like he is for real and not skinny. And by for real I mean in the anime. lol. But anyways I cant wait for it to come out.
