First Images from the Dragonball Movie Trailer

Well kids, I guess you don’t have to wait for the “Dragonball” movie trailer to show in front of “Max Payne” after all. Well, you still have to wait to see the actual footage (you know, moving and such), but screenshots from the trailer have leaked online, and they look, well, let’s put it this way: if you weren’t fans of the movie in the first place, these images probably aren’t going to convince you to change your mind.
The original screenshots surfaced over at Nerdorama (a place for nerds, one presumes), but the site has been hit so hard with traffic it’s since gone down. I was, though, able to find these images over at the Dragonball Movie Blog.
The “Dragonball” trailer shows in front of Max Payne October 17, 2008, and opens wide April 3rd, 2009.
So, um, why does Piccolo look like a vampire extra from Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

Still looks better than the 2 live action DB movies done in China. And yes there were 2 of them. The poorly dubbed one which I’m sure most people have seen and another one that looked like a 5th grade school play.
But the Chinese one and that other Korean one still looks Dragonball. This one doesn’t one bit.

You know who i think could of been a better goku?!!?!? Lui kang from mortal kombat. It would of been better if piccolo was green and his little antenas. I could of made a better movie in general. This movie disgusts me! Who agrees with me with the Lui Kang thing?

I have to agree the characters don’t resemble anything like the anime. I would think they are gonna have to, SERIOUSLY, make up for that in the fight scenes as we all can agree whole heartedly is the most important thing! I mean the characters take away from the effect by a lot so I would think they would be smart to go hardcore on the fight scenes which will save this movie, although not completly….they better have us DB fans in awe to get even a tilt of approval cuz this movie is relying heavily on the DB fans who can make or break this movie…..better come with it Speilberg!
Piccolo is not green…… that just fuckin killed it.. Why the fuck didn’t they jus make piccolo green it would have looked cool..I’m still going to watch it!
