First Images of De Niro and Pacino in Righteous Kill

The boys over at Empire Online has your first look at the upcoming crime thriller “Righteous Kill”, from all appearances a very generic sounding serial killer movie that just happens to boast two acting machines in Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. And yeah, some guy name .50 cent is also in it, but nevermind him. Empire has your first look at images from the movie, including the two men, playing cops after said serial killer, go to the gun range and then chat over ac up of coffee. They drank coffee together too in Michael Mann’s “Heat”, and now they’re at it again. Must be good coffee.

In Righteous Kill, directed by Jon Avnet and written by Inside Man scribe Russell Gerwitz, Pacino and De Niro play a pair of cops on the trail of a serial killer. Brian Dennehy, Carla Gugino, 50 Cent and John Leguizamo also star. Martin Scorsese does not, despite rumours.

“Righteous Kill” is scheduled for 2008.
