First Look at 24 Season 7 Cast Promo

I’m not sure if this is the first cast promo from Season 7 of FOX’s action-adventure show 24 that has surfaced online, but a reader (thanks, Josh!) who knows my affinity for the bloody exploits of one Jack Bauer, has sent in what he says is the first look at the 24 Season 7 cast. Besides the familiar old faces — have gun will travel Jack Bauer, good guy turned bad dude Tony Almeida, and too hot for geeky chick Chloe O’Brian — the rest of the cast are noobs.

Some of the new faces include Janeane Garofalo (playing a character named Janis Gold), Cherry Jones (as the show’s female president, Allison Taylor), and Annie Wersching (playing an FBI agent). The rest are a bunch of people I’ve never seen or heard from before.

I guess this is in keeping with the show’s move to a Washington D.C. setting, although I’m very disappointed that Marisol Nichols, the new head of CTU-Los Angeles, is nowhere to be seen. What’s up with that?

Season 7 of 24 begins in January 2009, but before that, you’ll be able to see a “bridging” 2-hour TV movie sometime in Fall of 2008.
