Has there really been a good World War II tank movie? I don’t know, I can’t recall one. Maybe there has been one or a dozen, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head. Then again, I can’t remember what I ate yesterday, so maybe that has a little something to do wit hit.
Anyhoo. Check out your first look at “Training Day” writer David Ayer’s “Fury,” which stars Brad Pitt and a lot of other guys as they roll into battle on a tank. It looks pretty awesome. Now if only we can get a proper trailer without all that unnecessary talking head interview stuff getting in the way of the action…
April, 1945. A battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Wardaddy and his men face odds in their attempts to strike at Nazi Germany.
Starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña and Jon Bernthal.
