First Look at Chris Pine as Jack Ryan Cruises Online

I’m not sure if this is an official image of Chris Pine as Jack Ryan from, well, “Jack Ryan”, or if this is a set image of Pine from the film’s first day of shooting. Either way, I’m totally digging Ryan’s new ride. It’s kind of weird, though, to see that Jack Ryan cruising around on a Ducati, especially when we all associate Harrison Ford in the role, and I don’t remember if I’ve ever seen Ford on a motorcycle before.

“Jack Ryan”, currently shooting for a late 2013 release, will co-star Keira Knightley as Ryan’s future wife, Kenneth Branagh as the bad guy, and Kevin Costner as Ryan’s CIA mentor.

The prequel finds our hero fresh from the Marine Corps working as a financial consultant for a Russian billionaire, where he’s framed in a terrorist plot and forced to go on the run. Sheesh. Talk about a tough day on the job!

Branagh will also direct.

      Oh yeah he did, didn’t he? I guess I’m thinking more of the “older” Harrison Ford, when he finally played Jack Ryan.
