First Look at Denis Leary on the Spider-Man Reboot Set

You got your first official look at Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man last night, and you’ve already seen what Emma Stone looks like as Gwen Stacy, so wanna see what Denis Leary looks like on the set of Marc Webb’s “Spider-Man” reboot? Well here it is (via CBM). He looks Denis Leary-y and cop-ish, cause, you know, he’s playing a police Captain in the movie and all.

Co-starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Fields, Julianne Nicholson, Campbell Scott, Rhys Ifan, Irrfan Khan, Annie Parisse, and spinning its webs in theaters July 3, 2012.

    I was iffy about Leary as George Stacy, but now that I see him in uniform, somehow I feel much more positive about him in the role.

    I think I like this version of the Spidey Universe already. Getting a younger Capt. Stacy, and a younger world as a whole. Worked really well for “Spectacular Spiderman.” That’s another thing they shoudl definitely go with an adjective title like “Amazing Spiderman” or “Spectacular Spiderman” or even “Web of Spiderman.”
