First Look at Diane Lane in Untraceable
Horror Movie News, Untraceable (2008) Movie — By Nix on November 16, 2007 |
Haven’t heard a whole lot about Diane Lane’s “Untraceable” — as in, haven’t heard anything about it at all — but it sounds like a good movie with some potential thrills to be had. How could it not, when you add Diane Lane to a serial killer movie? You don’t normally associate Diane Lane with serial killers, but here she is chasing one in Gregory Hoblit’s “Untraceable”. The film has Lane playing a FBI agent in charge of Internet crimes who ends up chasing a serial killer who has set up his own website to showcase his latest victims, and here’s the kicker: the more hits the site gets, the faster the victim bleeds live! (Geez, talk about desperate for site traffic!) It co-stars Colin Hanks and Billy Burke. Some images from the movie and a trailer below.
Within the FBI, there exists a division dedicated to investigating and prosecuting criminals on the internet. Welcome to the front lines of the war on cybercrime, where Special Agent Jennifer Marsh (Diane Lane) has seen it all……until now. A tech-savvy internet predator is displaying his graphic murders on his own website — and the fate of each of his tormented captives is left in the hands of the public: the more hits his site gets, the faster his victims die. When this game of cat and mouse becomes personal, Marsh and her team must race against the clock to track down this technical mastermind who is virtually untraceable.
