Sounds a bit over the top, huh? We all know vamps suck blood and this is why I took so long to watch Painted Skin. This is NOT what the film is about. It is about a very attentive beautiful demon whose love sick over a human who is a married man. It's not over the top either, very serious & powerful acting. It's a beautiful romantic, fantasy film w/ some comedy. I wrote added the "full synopsis" at the infamous IMDb site when I read someone else listed it as a vamp movie. Man, I am so glad I did not pass this one up, and you know what, I'm going to watch it again tonight and probably every few months till I get burnt out! Forget Donnie Yen. My heart has sunk because I'm not sure if it's gonna include the kind of jaw dropping fight scenes Donnie has been delivering recently. Donnie Yen with long hair equals,expectations in despair.
