Or at least, here’s your first look at star Grant Gustin in costume as the Flash … from the neck up.
He kinda looks a bit like Captain America for some reason. Though I can definitely see how no one will recognize him as the geeky lab guy on the show. It’s certainly way more “secret identity”-ish than Arrow’s costume. I mean, how is it that no one can figure out the Arrow is Oliver Queen? Starling City must be full of blind people.
Anyways, what do ya think, what do ya thinkers?
“The Flash” TV series will star Gustin as 20-something crime lab scientist Barry Allen, who after an accident involving a particle accelerator and some shiny lab chemicals, becomes the super speedster The Flash. The character originally guest-starred on the CW’s “Arrow,” and will now be getting his own spin-off TV series.
Along with Gustin, the show will star Tom Cavanagh, Rick Cosnett, Michelle Harrison, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, Chad Rook, Al Sapienza, with original “Flash” star John Wesley Shipp (below) showing up for an arc or two.
“The Flash” premieres this year on the CW.
