I guess this means Hilary Duff is trying to branch out from the teeny bopper audience that flocked (well, kind of) to her last movie, “Material Girls”, if the plot for “Greta” is any indication. Basically it’s Duff in an interracial drama (not a romantic comedy, apparently).

A waitress falls for an ambitious cook at a restaurant where they work. But as their love blossoms, she has to overcome concerns of her grandparents who are worried about the mixed-race relationship and her boyfriends criminal past.
