First Look at Kiele Sanchez as a Bloody Stella in 30 Days of Night Sequel

Color me excited for the sequel to David Slade’s “30 Days of Night”. Yup, even without Slade. Still, I’m a fan of the comic book series by Steve Niles, and the sequel, based on Niles’ “Dark Days” limited series, looks and sounds like a rockin’ good time. So, via AICN, here’s your first look at actress Kiele Sanchez, all bloodied up and getting ready to hack some vampires to bits, replacing Melissa George as Stella Oleson in the sequel. I can’t say if the lost of George is all that vital. She’s a decent actress, but let’s face it, it’s not like replacing Weaver in the “Alien” films.

Ben Ketai takes over for David Slade in the director’s chair, and Sanchez is joined by Harold Perrieneau, Mia Kirshner, and Katherine Isabelle in the cast. The sequel finds Stella alive and well and doing a promotional book tour across the U.S. toe expose the hidden vampire populace, attracting the attention of more vampires as a result.
