First Look at the Rock in Faster

USAToday has your first look at Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in his new, non-kid friendly movie “Faster”. The film has Johnson playing an ex-con who is out to avenge his brother’s murder. Directed by George Tillman (who last directed the rap bio pic “Notorious”), “Faster” also stars Billy Bob Thornton and Carla Gugino as cops trying to put an end to Johnson’s vigilante killing spree. The action movie will also provide eye candy in co-stars Moon Bloodgood and Maggie Grace, and is looking at a November 2010 release date.

After watching Johnson embarrass himself in kiddie movies like “The Game Plan”, “The Tooth Fairy”, and “The Race to Witch Mountain” (which also co-starred Gugino), it’ll be nice to see him busting heads and making people bleed again. And from the looks of the pic below, dude has been keeping in shape.
