First Look: Russell Crowe as Noah

Here’s your first look at a grizzled Noah, played by Russell Crowe, in director Darren Aronofsky’s big-budget, biblical epic “Noah”. No doubt ol Noah looks like he’s ready to go for a swim in this pic.

The director’s Old Testament follow-up to 2010′s Black Swan is an adaptation of the story of Noah (played by Russell Crowe) as he’s given a divine edict to build a great vessel to house animals and his family and save them from a watery natural disaster from God that will wipe out a sin-filled world.

The film co-stars Jennifer Connelly, once again playing Crowe’s onscreen wife, with Logan Lerman, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Douglas Booth, Kevin Durand, Ray Winstone, Marton Csokas, and Dakota Goyo as young Noah.

I guess you could say the Noahs were mankind’s first, well, survivalists.

The Noahs go for a swim March 28, 2014.

    You know I am very glad to see an attempt by Hollywood to make biblical movies once again. And as much as I would never expect a movie to totally be scriptural I do hope though that they will do there best to portray characters scriptually and tastefully done without profanity or scenes of fornication or other types of things that are not in step with being godly as Noah was. And he preached for one hundred twenty years that men should repent of their sins and get in the ark that God made for their safety. So also it is today that God wants all men to repent of their sins against God our creator and trust the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord God. Who came to die for their sins on the cross , was buried, and rose from the dead the third day and returned back up to heaven. And if they come by the door into the ark of safety in Christ the door they can be saved from their sins and paying for them in eternal hell forever and instead go to heaven forever when they die or the Lord comes back for his own children who have trusted in him and his blood atonement for their sins to get them to heaven since we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and Jesus said , I am the door of the sheep. And the way , the truth and the life ; no man cometh unto the Father but by me. From the Authorized King James Holy Bible , the word of God. Sincerely ;
