Here’s your first look at a grizzled Noah, played by Russell Crowe, in director Darren Aronofsky’s big-budget, biblical epic “Noah”. No doubt ol Noah looks like he’s ready to go for a swim in this pic.
The director’s Old Testament follow-up to 2010’s Black Swan is an adaptation of the story of Noah (played by Russell Crowe) as he’s given a divine edict to build a great vessel to house animals and his family and save them from a watery natural disaster from God that will wipe out a sin-filled world.
The film co-stars Jennifer Connelly, once again playing Crowe’s onscreen wife, with Logan Lerman, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Douglas Booth, Kevin Durand, Ray Winstone, Marton Csokas, and Dakota Goyo as young Noah.
I guess you could say the Noahs were mankind’s first, well, survivalists.
The Noahs go for a swim March 28, 2014.
Update: Here’s a better, wider look at the same pic.
