First Looks at Arnold Schwarzenegger on the Last Stand Set

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Hollywood comeback commences with “The Last Stand”, where the actor recently tweeted set pics with the cast and director Jee-woon Kim.

In the film, Schwarzenegger will play Ray Owens, a border town Sheriff who must prevent Cortez, a fugitive drug cartel leader from escaping into Mexico. The old man’s got his work cut out for him, since his entire staff consists of experienced deputies including Jaimie Alexander, Rodrigo Santoro, and Johnny Knoxville. Eduardo Noriega plays the bad guy, while Peter Stormare is one of his killer henchmen.

“The Last Stand” is the Hollywood debut of South Korean director Jee-woon Kim, the director of some of South Korea’s more acclaimed films like “A Bittersweet Life” and “I Saw the Devil”.

The film won’t arrive until 2013.
