First Official Images from The Fast and Furious 4

Wow, it seems like forever since we posted any new “Fast and Furious 4″ (or just “Fast and Furious”, as it’s now being called) news, hasn’t it? Luckily for us, USA Today has released three new official images from the upcoming Justin Lin movie. There’s also an accompanying article, but it doesn’t even bother to tell you the film’s plot, which is very lame. But hey, you probably already know the film’s plot, not to mention a juicy spoiler or two, if you’ve been reading this site, so we’ll let USA Today off the hook this time.

Indeed, the series has made $600 million worldwide and is one of Universal Studios’ best-selling DVD titles.
“We were doing a movie about illegal racing before most people even knew how popular it was,” Diesel says. “How many franchises are that based on the real world?”
But it’s not all current events, Walker says. “Who doesn’t like fast cars and hot women?”
Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, and Jordana Brewster returns to the franchise, along with “Tokyo Drift” director Justin Lin. “Fast and Furious” is scheduled for Summer 2009.

You know there’s a site called fastandfurious4.co.uk that has heaps of spy pics of FF4, they even have spy pics of Brian’s Subaru!
These pictures look great, although all the flashy Japanese imports seem to be less flashy this time and completely replaced with exotics and muscle cars, Brian’s Skyline looks a little lame to be honest, maybe a nice silver paint job and blue interior and neons will make it look a bit better
that skyline is hot. Im so sick of the fast and the furious franchise. No one knows anyhing about street racing or imports. The movies always riced out the cars, it was gay. Screw neon and blue interior. Just rip it all out, throw some racing seats in there, and drop urself a 2jz or rb26 in that bad boy with a t88 and you got yourself a car.

The RB26 IS the STOCK MOTOR for the SKYLINE GTR, and a 2JZ is a toyota motor, so tell me how the hell you put a motor from a toyota into a nissan…
Ricers arent just recognized by thier cheezy taste in visual modifications, they are also recognized by thier extreme lack of knowledge of the automotive world… and by that statement you just made (Which made you look like a total retard) i’d have to say the pot is calling the kettle black… Ricer.
You just showed how incredibly ignorant you are. Yes, the 2JZ is a Toyota motor, but if you had any sort of knowledge on imports you would have known that many people have already completed 1JZ and 2JZ swaps into S-chassis cars (i.e. 240sx’s). There are retards out there that throw on ridiulous neons, spoilers, and bodykits on their imports just as there are plenty of domestic muscleheads that put on garbage exhausts on their 1989 POS Camaros and drive around like they’re God’s gift. Do your research before you label import tuners as “lacking in automotive knowledge”. Clearly you’re quite lacking as well.

Okay, but in the second picture is not Vin Diesel, and the third picture was posted before. i think just first and the last picture are real.
The new cars are a bit more tastefully done now. The new STi hero car now looks more like a Time Attack track monster than the Bling Bling chromed out ricer-mobiles like the Eclipse in the 1st and the Evo VII/Eclipse Spyder in the 2nd movie…. Good Job Universal!

Wow a Buick Grand National! now that a car. Bold bad ass look and great performance! Am glad they moved away from the ricer look of the late 90’s that still haunt us with this kids driving mosquitos. Seriously all that neon light and 4 feet spoilers been driving my 30 year old men didnt help the look of the series. Am glad they gave Dom a more muscle head attitude in the new one. He looks alot better and more bad ass driving muscle cars than driving rice rockets through trucks.
