First Official Images of Jamie Foxx and Dane DeHaan in The Amazing Spider-Man 2

You’ve already seen set images of Jamie Foxx in character (well, mostly, anyway) as the villain Electro on Marc Webb’s “The Amazing Spider-Man 2″, but now check Foxx out as his civilian alter ego, Max Dillon, who from the looks of it won’t be taking anyone to the prom anytime soon. Losing a bit on top there, champ.

Also, check out your first look at “Chronicle’s” Dane DeHaan as the newly minted Harry Osborn. Harry’s image is not all that exciting. At least, he doesn’t seem to be as wildly interesting looking as Foxx’s Dillon character.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds, life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen, high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro, emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

“The Amazing Spider-Man 2″ also stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Sally Field, Felicity Jones, Paul Giamatti, Martin Sheen, and Colm Feore.

Spinning back into theaters next May 2, 2014.

Okay, two things, why is his name Matt Dillon and not Max Dillon?!?!?! I saw the name printed in another article least week and just assumed that it was a mis-print. There is no cinematically integral reason for this change whatsoever! That shit annoys me. Secondly, why does he look like Jim Carrey as Edward Nygma aka The Riddler from Batman Forever?! He looks utterly ridiculous.

    • LionHeart

It’s BH’s error. The reveal tweet itself names him Max.

      Muscle memory. Corrected.

    • TotesMagotes

His name is still Max Dillon.

Does it really matter? How many people actually remember what the original Max Dillon looked like? I mean just like many incarnations he’s basically a nobody til he gets his power. In the MTV one he was an awkward nerd, in Spectacular he was a technician and his face was pretty much non descript. So If anything they’re giving him a personality before the accident or whatever.

I agree on everything… BUT A COMBOVER!!! Lol… But for real, that combover is going to haunt my nights…

Ok, i have to say, i was already confused at the fact Electro is looking to be the main villain but ok… I let it go… I was even really happy with Blue Electro… But, leave Max Dillon some dignity, the glasses ill accept but a combover, good grief… This has seriously amped down my excitement for Electro. I’m terrified to see Rhino, he could look so terrible if not done correctly…

As for Harry, he looks just about right, looks like a snotty rich kid i don’t like at all, which is actually pretty acurate to the comics. But his hair is kinda, i don’t know, i’d have liked it a little more unkempt, kinda like in this pic here… But hey, what can you do…. Except sigh :/
