First Official Look at Chris Hemsworth in Thor: The Dark World

Here’s your first look at Chris Hemsworth and former “Game of Thrones” director Alan Taylor on the set of Marvel’s upcoming “Thor: The Dark World”, the sequel to the 2011 movie also starring Hemsworth as the mighty dude with the hammer, swanky outfit and flowery prose.

The sequel finds Thor battling Malekith the Accursed, which is a pretty cool name if you can get it. It’s better than, say, Malekith the Meh. Tom Hiddleston will also reprise his role as Loki, Thor’s wicked half-brother, still smarting from his defeat in two Marvel movies, one would imagine.

“Thor 2″ also stars Natalie Portman, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo, and Anthony Hopkins.

The God of Thunder swings that hammer again November 8, 2013.

Dark world probably refers to the Realm of the Dark Elves. But they just follow the basic premise of “The Heroes Journey” This is their Belly of the Whale episode.

  • Aegon the Conqueror

Nix please tell me you have plans for stand up comedy!

Haha, you’re too kind. I know all the jokes are lame and silly, but honestly, if I I took every post/article I write even remotely seriously, I’d shoot myself from boredom.
