First Official Trailer for Christopher Smith’s Triangle

We tried posting a very cool promo reel for Christopher Smith’s “Triangle” a while back, but it was pulled by the studio because, well, who wants free publicity to jazz up a public that has no idea your movie even exists, right? I mean, it’s not like the film is getting so much buzz that it couldn’t use a little bit more… What I’m trying to say is, the way the studio is handling Smith’s “Triangle”, it’s like they’re trying to bury this thing on DVD. We’ll see. Anyways, here is, as far as I can tell, the first official trailer for “Triangle”.

When Jess sets sail on a yacht with a group of friends, she cannot shake the feeling that there is something wrong. Her suspicions are realized when the yacht hits a storm and the group is forced to board a passing ocean liner to get to safety, a ship Jess is convinced she’s been on before. The ship appears deserted, the clock on board has stopped, but they are not alone… Someone is intent on hunting them down, one by one. And Jess unknowingly holds the key to end the terror.

Starring Melissa George, Liam Hemsworth, Rachael Carpani, Emma Lung, Michael Dorman, Henry Nixon, and written and directed by Christopher Smith (“Creep”).

Unless you live in the UK, your best bet to see this thing is probably to look for it on the film festival circuit before it lands on DVD. This thing ain’t going theatrical Stateside, or if it does, it’ll be a very limited release, which is a shame, because it looks like a killer mind-trip movie and actually reminds me of something The Twilight Zone folks would do.
