First Poster for Director Ryuhei Kitamura’s No One Lives

I like Ryuhei Kitamura. The guy makes incredible movies, and while “Midnight Meat Train” may not have been the best example of his cinematic abilities, it was still better than your average, everyday horror flick. Thankfully, Kitamura is set to return to the English language with “No One Lives”, which stars Angus Macfadyen, Alexis Dziena, Laura Ramsey, Lindsey Shaw, America Olivo, Beau Knapp, Derek Magyar, Luke Evans, and Brodus Clay. I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that this one is a bit more accomplished than his last live-action endeavor.

Here’s what the movie is about:

A group of local criminals who abduct a wealthy couple, intending to torture them. They get a surprise when the man (Evans) turns out to be far more psychotic than any of them, with a missing heiress trapped in the trunk of his car.

Uh-oh! Trouble! The poster resides below.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)
